WGN CHICAGO CHRISTMAS VIDEOS

For anyone who grew up in Chicago in the 60s and 70s Hardrock Coco and Joe, Suzi Snowflake and Frosty the Snowman cartoons have a special meaning. They played every year on The Ray Rayner Show and Garfield Goose. They bring out the spirit of Christmas, dark, creepy and just a little stressful.

Thank you, JC. My 5 year-old twins loved it! Important part of their Pop cultural education...

I can't believe it! Someone who actually knows who Ray Raynor and Garfield Goose were!

Remember those god-awful craft projects Ray would do? And his marching with the duck (was it Chelsea?)? And Frazier Thomas -- didn't he also host some sort of movie classics on the weekends?

Look at me, all giddy over a WGN blast from the past...I really need to get out more.
