CALLING ALL SLACKERS

There's not much to say about this, but that the Clark street address isn't to far from me. I should stop by to see if Mr. Benson Barrett is still making money writing paragraphs or if he's still living off of the profits from selling his writing paragraphs idea to unsuspecting women reading Woman's Household. I wish I had seen this ad before I spent all those "weary years" in college "learning to write".

Oh Please please please go see if he's still there! I'm DYING to know how I can make enough for a fine farm writing only simple paragraphs!

I'm working on taking this to the next level -- making money writing short sentences.

I bought Benson Barrett's writing course. 40 lessons for $40. It changed my life. I sold a few short humorous poems, then jokes. Later started writing my own gags and drawing one-panel cartoons. I branched into writing articles, and my biggest sale was to McCall's. A small movie producer hired me to write sales promotion pieces then let me direct 8 industrial films. I went to California and became a storyboard artist for a multimedia medical training film studio. Still writing. I was always good at English but Benson showed me how to make money at it. I always wished I could thank him for what he did. I admit his ads sound too good to be true. But the difference was that I followed through and worked HARD at it.
